Norfolk- Andrew “Andy” Leonard Hribar unexpectedly passed away on September 9, 2022 at the age of 40 at his residence in Norfolk, VA. Andrew was born March 7, 1982 to Leonard V. Hribar and Hope A. (Moncoveish) Hribar of Ravenna, Ohio.
Andrew grew up in Ravenna, Ohio and later moved to Virginia in 2012 where he called home.
Andrew graduated from Southeast High
School and the Welding Program at Maplewood Career Center in Ravenna, Ohio in 2000.
Andrew was a jack of all trades, but welding was his trade for 22 years on the East Coast, Ohio and abroad. He was a ship boat welder, iron worker, carpenter, roofer, mechanic and horticulturist.
Andrew loved his family and friends. He loved to travel, camp, fish, hunt, cook, being a gardener, music, the outdoors, the ocean, children and animals. He was a kind hearted, loving man to whomever he touched. One of his biggest accomplishments was being able to weld at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.
Andrew is survived by his parents Leonard V. (Hope) Hribar of Ravenna, Ohio, Brother Robert J. Lemmon and (Cindy Everson) of Ravenna, Ohio, Brother Edward J. (Kimberly) Lemmon of Norfolk, VA, Sister Adrienne A. (James) Schneider of Lake Milton, Ohio and his little brother Allen V. Hribar of Ravenna, Ohio.
Andrew had many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. Robert “RJ” Lemmon, Ohio Alysha (Tyler) Frame, NC, Johnathan Lemmon,Ohio, Alexis Sardich, Ohio, Alyson (Nick) Golla, LA, Alanna Sardich, Ohio, Tyler Lemmon, VA, Christian Sardich, Ohio, Jaycee Schneider, Ohio and Jameson Schneider of Ohio. He was a Great-Uncle to Aizley Frame of NC and Jaxson Golla of LA.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Laurence B. (Margie) Hribar of Mentor, Ohio and John (Verna) Moncoveish of Allison, PA.
Andrew will be greatly missed and loved by his family and friends.
