Ann served on the Boad of directors for LifeNet Health (1995-2024) and the LifeNet Health Foundation (2005-2024).

Ann had many talents, and she used them to support her family, her church, and other non-profit organizations. She was an avid crafter and participated in craft shows, and worked in direct sales for many years to help support her family. After she retired, she became the Parish Administrator for Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk, VA, where she was an active member.
