Burnie B. White, Jr., 84, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2020. Born in Norfolk, VA, Burnie was the son of the late Burnie B. White and Lillian Harrison White.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Jean White, his son Raymond White (Nina), his daughter Karen White, stepchildren Deborah Chappell (Wayne), Jack Hall, Greg Hall (Roxanne), Terry Flint (deceased) grandchildren, Adrian (two great grandchildren), Stephen, Jennifer and Allison, numerous step–grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, and his beloved friend, Bobby Faison.
Burnie was retired from Pan Am/National Airlines. He loved boating, restoring antique cars and in his later years turned his attention to his passion for gardening.
The family will hold a private graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to The Norfolk Botanical Garden, 6700 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, VA 23518 (757)441-5830.

So sorry to hear of Bernie’s passing. We have missed him much down at Terri’s dinner. I will always remember his kindness and personality. He was a friend of my late husband Leonard. God Bless the family. Sharon O’Dell
