George David Hulse, Sr. (Dave), 86, passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2023. 

Born in Trenton NJ, Dave spent his younger years in Seaside Park, NJ. Dave worked at his parents’ bakery. He graduated from Lehigh University in 1959. He lived and worked in Toms River, NJ and retired from Ocean County Board of Taxation. Dave spent most of his retirement in Florida, Ocean Village on South Hutchinson Island until recently relocating to Virginia Beach, VA. 

Dave is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carole Spangenberg Hulse. He is survived by his daughter and her husband Victoria and Bruce Nagourney, grandchildren Caitlin Baker (her husband Ryan), Zachary Nagourney (his wife Flora) and 2 great grandchildren, his sister Jane Siegmann (her husband Chris) and his sister-in- law Lynne Winkel (her husband Rob). 

He was predeceased by his son, George David Hulse, Jr. who passed away on June 9, 2023. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time in New Jersey.
