Jonathan James Johnston (Johnny)
Johnny rode the ultimate last wave into the Lord’s sunset January 9th, 2022, at the age of 61. He was an articulate custom home builder with the determination of a bulldog to details. He could transform any house into a home to boast about in a flash of time. He made an extremely labored job look like a magician’s performance with ease and swiftness.
When he wasn’t creating a total transformation of a home, you could find Johnny on the water. His love of the ocean and bays that surround us was immense. If the surf was up, the board came out to ride the best waves of a great set. If the sea was calm, his trusty boat, Low Key, was always waiting for the next tall fish story.
He lived…. He laughed…He loved…his love, Patricia Frueh, their family together, Chasity, Leo and Angie, his daughters Brittney, Chelsea and Jessica, along with all their grandkids. He loved his siblings Maria, Debbie, and Richard and all his nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Johnny will be greeted by his mother, Anna, his father, Richard, his four brothers, Charles, Allen, Danny and Bill along with so many family members and friends before him.
Johnny comes from a huge family, who he loved spending time with, but sometimes life’s pleasures wind up consuming us and stealing away our time together. His slightly sinister smile will be oh so dearly missed!!!
