Chesapeake- Kimberly Jean Hundley Franklin, 47, peacefully passed away March 14, 2021 at Obici Hospital surrounded by her family. Kim was preceded in death by her father Steven Hundley. She is survived by her mother Linda Hundley; husband Brandon; daughter Sara; sister Lisa and numerous other family members. Kim attended Chesapeake Public Schools where through the years she made many life long friendships. She and her husband Brandon shared 25 wonderful years of marriage to which they welcomed one child, Sara, who she loved and supported more than anyone.  Kim worked most of her life fulfilling her passion; taking care of children. She loved to spend time with her family having cookouts and watching shows. She and her sister were avid yard salers and deal finders. Kim had a very strong relationship with the lord which she in turn used to be a witness to countless people. We will find peace in knowing she’s with her Savior and the many people shes lost.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at noon at Temple Baptist Church, 1322 George Washington Hwy N, Chesapeake, VA 23323. Flowers may be delivered to the church.

Kim sure will be missed.What a wonderful friend with a beautiful heart ..May she now be dancing and singing at the top of her lungs in Heaven.. She sure earned her wings…hugs to you Sara and family

Oh how she made me laugh. Loved working with her at Deep Creek Academy. She had such a heart for the lord, her family and friends. I will miss you dear friend.
