Virginia Beach- Linda Diemer Hicks was born February 21, 1937 to Carl and Nellie Diemer. She graduated from Granby High School in Norfolk and Radford University with a Bachelor’s  degree in Elementary Education. Linda retired from teaching in Portsmouth and moved to Virginia Beach to be with her 3 children Janice Hicks-Toben, Trey Hicks (and Wife-Dana), and Kim Hicks, and 6 grandchildren, Alex, Taylor, Connor Toben (& their father Ron), Katie and Paige Hicks, and Holly Ann Hicks. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Nancy Verdow, and survived by Her brother Carl Diemer and 1 niece and 2 nephews. Linda will always be remembered by her kind and caring soul. Her love and light will continue through many generations. She loved the outdoors, Sunday dinners, being with family and friends, and had genuine compassion for her loved ones. She will be greatly missed.
