Michelle Lee Styer-Blume was born on February 12, 1963 in Lafayette, LA to the late Francis and Colleen Styer (Ridings). They soon moved to Virginia Beach where she lived until her passing, July 9, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Blume; her daughter, Amber Manoff (Chandler Barton); her son, BayLee Blume (Emily Browning); her grandchildren, JoAnna Peters, Lydia Heath, Liam Heath and Owen Blume; her sisters, Arleen Upshur (Cary) and Robin Bucklin of Huntsville, AL; sister in laws, Madeline Dunstan (Patrick) and Karen Daniels; brother in law, Randy Blume (MaryEllen) of Syracuse, NY; various nieces, nephews and cousins; and her two cats Nickel and Dime.
Michelle grew up in Chic’s Beach attending Frank W. Cox high school and Tidewater Community College.
Some of her favorite things were music, dancing, gardening, horses, cooking, the beach, feeding her ducks and squirrels and living life to its fullest. She cherished adventurous trips with her family, especially to Nags Head, NC and the mountains.
She will be greatly missed by many.
A celebration of life service will be held at Bayside Baptist Church, 1920 Pleasure House Rd on July 22, 2023 at 11am.
