Virginia Beach- Romy gave his spirit to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on August 9, 2022. Romy is survived by his loving wife, sons, granddaughters, grandsons, and great granddaughter.
The Mass of Resurrection will be held on August 24, 2022 at 12 PM at The Church of Ascension. The Mass will be followed by inurnment and reception at ACC.

Heavy 💜 Brother Romy was a great Mentor and Friend. I cannot count how many times he helped me, probably in more ways than he ever knew. He was a great coach, friend and family man. He was one of my first coaches and sponsor for the Blue Lodge as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cruz family. My God rest his soul 🙏🙏 Until we meet again My Brother, until we meet again 🙏🙏
We are thinking of you and your family as you celebrate the life of your beloved. We have fond memories of you and Uncle Romy and all the family gatherings.
We were fortunate to be neighbors with The Cruz family for over 25 years. Mr. Cruz was the first one to reach out to us and make us feel so welcome to the neighborhood. Mr. Cruz spent several days teaching my husband how to make lumpia from scratch. We always felt honored to have The Cruz family so close to our hearts. He truly was the sweetest man we had ever met. He will be truly missed. May God Bless his beautiful wife and family. XOXO ❤
