Chesapeake- Sheila Doreen Brinck, age 60, of Norfolk, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at home on October 28th, 2021.
Sheila was the daughter of Jose and Joyce Fernandez. She was a devoted wife to Bobby Brinck and loving mother to Robert Foster and Delani Beilsmith. She will be sadly missed by her sister Kimie Porter, her brother, Carlos Fernandez, her grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sheila was known for always living life to the fullest; taking the time to enjoy family, helping others, traveling, and instilling positivity in each and every day. A Celebration of life will be on Saturday; November 6th, 2021, at 11:11 at The Church of the Epiphany; 1530 Lafayette Blvd. Norfolk, VA 23509. Followed by a reception.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation or to The Church of the Epiphany.

I have worked with Sheila at ODU for many years. I remember her as being always happy, and positive. She was proud of her family and I remember her introducing me to Delani during one of my visits to campus. Her smile and warmth will be greatly missed. I extend my condolences to her family.
