I have so many fond memories of Susan at church events. She always took the time to ask me how I was, and how my kids were doing. Holding her family in love and light – she will be sorely missed.
Thinking of the Berger family in this period of grief and morning. Remembering Susan as a bright star whose life and compassion blessed the lives of many; and in so doing, will bless the lives of generations to come.
I got to know Susan through our volunteering at the Book Nook- Churchland Library. Susan would come in early so that we could chat before I finished my shift. We had so much to talk about and very much enjoyed each other’s company. Susan was very brave.
Please accept my condolences and I am so glad that we met each other.
Wishing you comfort in the time ahead.

Mark and family, you’ve been without Susan for a week now. I expect the finality of her death may be just sinking in. I pray you’ll eventually find peace with that and thankfulness that you had such a fine woman in your lives.
Mark, we were so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. We will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time. May the memories of Susan and the life you shared together comfort you in the days ahead.

Mark and family: I was in two UU groups with Susan for several years – we met monthly at the home of Georgette Vitez-Renz for both groups. Susan shared her intelligence, insights and struggles, and I admired and liked her. She was very proud of her family. My deepest sympathies to you.
Mark. So sorry to hear about Susan’s death. From what I remember of our talks on the hikes with the Tuesday Group, this was a long journey and battle for both of you. My thoughts are with you as you walk this next phase of your life’s journey without her. May the rich memories of the years you had together bring you healing and strength.
Susan, you were such a kind and generous person. You will be missed by so many. Our warmest condolences to Mark and your children, Robyn and Corey, and grandchildren Nicky and Alex. From Trisha: I need to take a moment and a breath. You were my very best friend. I appreciated our long conversations. We were able to express our thoughts and emotions and we certainly laughed a lot. I could go on and on about your excellent qualities, but I won’t. Richard and I will miss you dearly. You have my love to take with you. Sweet dreams.
So sorry to hear of Susan’s passing. My condolences to Mark and the whole family. Susan touched so many with compassion and love. May her memory be a blessing.
