Virginia Sakis Martin, 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July, 26, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband James Martin, son Jay Alligood, five sisters and two brothers.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters Elizabeth and Alice Faye, son M.J. (Butch) Alligood; Col. USAF Ret., twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She worked hard, lived hard and loved the Lord.  She spent 25 years reaching out on the counseling lines for CBN continuing the Lord’s work.  She had great joy in this life however its not over for her, she lives on with the Lord.

The family would like to give special thanks to Kindred Hospice nurses and staff for their tender loving care.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in September.  An announcement will be made once that date is finalized.
